Dr. Birendra Kumar Raut is a highly accomplished adult critical care physician with specialized expertise in Liver Transplantation and Gastrointestinal (GI) Critical Care. He completed his MBBS from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, and earned his MD in Anesthesiology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Nepal.

To further strengthen his expertise in high-acuity transplant and surgical ICU care, Dr. Raut pursued a Fellowship in Liver Transplant and GI Critical Care from Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, one of Asia’s most prestigious centers for organ transplantation. He also holds the distinguished title of Fellow of Adult Critical Care Medicine (FACCM).

Known for his precision, calm demeanor, and patient-centered approach, Dr. Raut is a trusted name in managing critically ill patients undergoing complex hepatobiliary, GI, and transplant procedures. His core skills include perioperative transplant ICU management, advanced ventilatory support, hemodynamic stabilization, and sepsis management.
