Dr. Prof. Mukund Raj Joshi is a highly experienced Professor of Surgery at Kathmandu Medical College, with over 14 years of teaching experience. He has served as a Consultant Surgeon specializing in General, Gastrointestinal, and Laparoscopic Surgery at leading hospitals in Kathmandu, including Om Hospital and Research Center and Venus International Hospital.

He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Rangpur Medical College and an M.S. in General Surgery from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. Dr. Joshi has enhanced his expertise through various specialized training programs, such as the Primary Trauma Care Management course, Laparoscopic Hernia Course, and a Workshop on Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Joshi has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and surgical innovation. His contributions to the field have been recognized with accolades such as the Best Paper Award at the Society of Surgeons of Nepal Conference.
